How Hypnotherapy Helped My Anxiety and Worry

I chose to visit a hypnotherapist as I was struggling with anxiety and worry. I felt that I had fallen into a trap whereby I had anxiety as a result of some life situations, divorce and the death of my parents. Recently my life had turned a corner, I had nothing to worry about, but I was still very anxious about anything and everything and I felt crippled by these feelings.

I enjoyed working with Carmen very much. She has a welcoming, reassuring and friendly manner which put me very much at ease. I enjoyed the content of our sessions and also all of Carmen’s lovely knitting!

I feel that I have learned lots. The most valuable lesson, I think is that my feelings are my choice. I enjoyed the audio and felt a benefit from listening to it nightly almost immediately. I have taken away a belief in the power of positivity and feel calmer and more confident, though I appreciate that this is something I will need to keep working on.

I would strongly recommend hypnotherapy to anyone thinking of using it. I found it to be a wonderfully collaborative and supportive process with a fabulous lady guiding me through. I looked forward to the session every week. I won’t look back!
