How Hypnotherapy Helped My Eating Anxiety

How Hypnotherapy Helped My Eating Anxiety

Over the past few years I have found it increasingly difficult to eat normally in front of other people. This gradually worsened to the point where I could no longer enjoy the company of my own family whilst eating and was increasingly finding it difficult to arrange social events or even a few drinks in the evening without suffering panic attacks. The problem developed and began to take it’s toll on my career to the point where I would shy away from meetings and work lunches due to continued anxiety. It was at this point where I realised that I would have to look into taking steps to tackle my anxiety before it took over my life altogether

From the very first session, Carmen has encouraged me to appreciate the smaller positives hidden in each day. It is this that improves the larger picture and, moving forward, gives me a better outlook on life. Small changes to each day have increased my general happiness and well-being and have rounded to a more positive approach generally. Over the course of my treatment I have gradually become more relaxed as my anxiety has been released

Having always been sceptical of ‘alternative’ methods, I was unsure of what to expect during my initial consultation. Carmen explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease. It was clear quite quickly that Hypnotherapy was the approach I wanted to take. My advice would be to call and discuss or book a consultation – you really have nothing to lose
